
Rebecca Rainer, co-founder, President / CEO for Chase Rainer Media, knows how to pitch a story to get journalists’ attention and news coverage. Before founding Chase Rainer Media, she spent more than a decade in the trenches of television newsrooms.
As a news anchor and reporter, she’s been on the receiving end of public relations pitches for years. Her additional experience in a Los Angeles public relations agency gives her the added edge of having been on “both sides” of the story. She knows what works, and what doesn’t.
As chief strategist, Rebecca takes Chase Rainer Media’s service offerings to the next level. She handles company positioning strategy, strategic planning, media training, story placement, crisis management, community relations, and issues management for the agency’s current clients and new businesses seeking to increase their public profile.
Rainer received her Master’s of Science in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University in Durham, N.C.
Randy Chase, co-founder and business manager, has been a leader in the broadcasting, marketing and public relations industries for more than 20 years. Having shaped the direction and substance of some of today’s leading radio and television broadcast companies, he understands the subtleties and competition in today’s media landscape.
Chase founded one of the nation’s leading production studios in 1991. After selling in 1994, Chase served as director of marketing and promotion for both Curb Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment in Los Angeles.He has also been at the helm of both creating and charting the course of numerous broadcast facilities and music artists in various formats – country, hip-hop, top 40, adult contemporary, sports and oldies.
Chase brings to Chase Rainer Media an expertise in strategic planning, crisis management, market research, branding, new product launches, television and radio production, and client relations.
